Q: Tell us a few things about your country, and also your life's story!
I am from Nigeria, Africa's most populated country and often regarded of the Giant of Africa. However, despite wealth from natural resources, mismanagement of public funds and poverty continues to plague majority of it's citizens and it is up to us younger ones to steer this country towards economic prosperity. We shall give it our best effort.
Q: What is your view of the world as it is today? And how do you define the concept of a better world?
Despite advancement in Technology and Science, mankind is still ravaged by disease, hunger, racial differences and poverty to name a few. Getting the fore-mentioned right and guaranteeing equal rights to everyone is one sure way of getting it right. A better world starts when we are able to love everyone and seek ways to generally improve the standard of living, education and health.
Q: What are some of the key challenges in your society?
Illiteracy, unemployment, poverty, poor infrastructural development, insecurity, corruption and hunger,
Q: As a young individual what are a few of the hurdles that you had to overcome up until today?
Unemployment, high cost of living, lack of infrastructural development, inadequate quality in educationand insecurity
Q: Why is the role of a mentor important for you?
A mentor is important because as an achiever, he/she shares knowledge, wisdom, skills and expertise with me. They have been through tough times and would help with advice to get past them. I am getting great counsel and feedback.
Q: Do you have a lesson that life has taught you and you would like to share?
To succeed, you must be ready to work hard. Nothing good comes easy.
Q: Name a project, a foundation or a person in your country that you think is doing great work in helping improve other people's lives!
