Dereje Ferede

Dereje Mulat Ferede is a lecturer in University of Gondar, ERP project coordinator, Sr. Business Analysts, and IT specialist. He received his B.Sc. degree in Information Science from Jimma University, and M.Sc. degree in Information Systems from Addis Ababa University. Currently, he is a PhD student in the field of Information Systems at Addis Ababa University. He got numerous certificates in training completion from well-known international technology companies such as Cisco, and IBM.

Dereje received a certificate in training completion in Applied Scrum for Agile Project Management, AI for Everyone: Master the Basics, Block Chain: Basics, CCNA (Routing and Switching), CCNA security, Cybersecurity Basics, Introduction to Data Science, AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, Linux: Basics, and IT Essential.

He attended different summer schools and workshops such as “Data Science 2023” held at University of Rwanda, Kigali, Rwanda, and “Climate Justice” held at University of Kenyatta, Nairobi, Kenya. His research interest areas are Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems Security, Digital Strategy, FinTech, and Health Informatics. SMART PLS, and NVivo are the key tools that he interested in conducting research.
