Edita Ismaili
Growing up in a place with three different nationalities, has helped Edita become cultural sensitive and more understanding, besides the languages that she has learnt growing up she was also interested in comparing political, cultural and social differences that communities in the region posses.
During High School Edita worked as a volunteer in the American Corner where she has improved her communication skills and work ethic, at that time she also managed to finish Musical School because of her passion for piano.
During her studies in the University Of Pristina, Faculty of Law, she tried to extend her commitments, besides her attraction to law, she also enjoyed doing researches regarding relevant issues in her country and region.
As an important ingredient in shaping her personality and perfecting her work ethics, has been her work with the United Nations Mission In Kosovo, where she was given the opportunity to organize and lead various projects as the coordinator of UN Youth Task Force.
With the aim of working towards her goal of becoming a successful lawyer, she started working as an associate in a law firm in Prishtina where she has the chance of working with the biggest companies in the region.
Edita Ismaili’s mentor was Sonja Lokar.
Note: Edita graduated from the mentoring programme in 2017 and she was 22 at the time.
