Luisa Kern
After high school in Munich (with six months in Minnesota, US) Luisa attended a General Studies program at Leibniz Kolleg, Tübingen. She continued her education with a French-German dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science (Sciences Po Paris/ Free University Berlin).Luisa has also participated in short courses on International Politics in Utrecht and Moscow.
Luisa is a board member of Polis180, a young grassroots think tank on European and Foreign Policy, where she co-hosts a podcast on European affairs for young people called “Brüsseler Bahnhof”.
She is also a Youth Ambassador for the ONE Campaign, advocating for the SDGs and for ending extreme poverty.
She has previously worked at a center for coastal protection and at a think tank focusing on French-German relations. A native German speaker, Luisa is fluent in English and French and speaks intermediate Italian and Swedish. Luisa is currently interning at a Peacebuilding NGO and plans to attend Graduate School for a Master’s degree in International Security.
