Maha Al Shuhail
Maha Khamis Al Shuhail is a Senior Consultant with ASDA’A Burson-Marsteller, and brings over 12 years’ professional experience with special focus in the field of public management, public policy, organizational development and change management, economic research and developing studies within the public sector.
She joins ASDA’A B-M from Abu Dhabi Education Council where she was a Senior Analyst – Strategic Planning & Special Projects at the Office of Planning & Strategic Affairs. Under her leadership, her team won the 2015 ADEC Internal Excellence Award for Outstanding Internal Improvement for a project she was leading. Her work involved developing strategic studies for the education sector.
Prior to this she was a Consultant with Rand Corporation in Abu Dhabi working on two projects for the Higher Education Sector within Abu Dhabi and was part of the team in carrying out two organisational assessments of partnerships for the client.
Her previous experience also includes: Project Manager of Generations for Peace at the Office of HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein in Jordan, a global not-for-profit entity that promotes sustainable peace building. She was also an Economic Researcher at the Economic Affairs Directorate of the Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan in Amman.
Maha holds an MSc in Public Service Policy & Management from King’s College London, and a BA in Economics & International Relations from the Boston University. She is fluent in Arabic and English and has basic proficiency in French.
