Maria Pia Napoletano
Born in Naples in the middle of 1998, Maria Pia Napoletano is a Master student, a start-up advisor, a junior project manager and a youth worker. She started her bachelor’s degree in 2016, and in the same year she took part in her first Erasmus+ Youth Exchange. After that, she fell in love with the programme and consequently took part in more than 10 Youth Exchanges, Training Courses and Contact-making activities. She used the skills acquired during the activities to improve her volunteering grassroot activities. During the last four years, she organized workshops in high schools and Universities and internal training for local organisations using non-formal education techniques and informal learning as a tool to improve learning.
As for the other activities, in 2017 she took part in the World Forum for Democracy of the CoE, and in 2018 she was selected as the Youth Representative for Italy in the 35th Session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the CoE.
In 2018 she also took part in the “Europe Mobile” project in Genshagen, Germany, touring high schools to tell youngsters about the EU, using informal learning techniques.
Since 2018, she is part of the Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) network at EU Neighbours East, taking part in both online and offline activities as a participant, a trainer, and a representative of young people from Member States. She was nominated EU group coordinator for MS YEAs.
In 2019, she graduated Summa cum Laude in Business Administration at Federico II University, and then started working as a junior project manager in Zaragoza, Spain, with an Erasmus+ Scholarship. She is currently working at a start-up incubator in Caserta, Italy.
Maria Pia Napoletano's mentor is Eleni Glinou.
