Nicole Hendrickson
Nicole is a sexual and reproductive health and rights educator. She prioritises the needs of others before herself. She has been an ally for over 20 years.
She believes in servant leadership and has served on the board of several youth, women, and developmental organisations. She is one of several civil society members on her country's national mechanism for HIV, the National AIDS Coordinating Committee where she is the Chair of Prevention, Treatment, and Care.
Some of her other roles include Regional Advisor for Thought for Food, Country Co-coordinator for CariMAN, Trinidad and Tobago Chapter, Volunteer/Trainer Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross Society, and member of the Emergency Management Team of Radio Emergency Associated Communications Teams (REACT).
In 2014 she and a colleague formed Firecircle, which seeks to promote public participation, community-based solutions, and collective action to end all forms of gender violence in Trinidad and Tobago.
She recently became the Caribbean CoChair of Afrihealth Optonet Association AHOA International Technical Advisory Committee (AHOA-ITAC)
She has worked in gender, youth, HIV, prison rehabilitation, and human rights.
