Nicoleta Paladi

Nicoleta Paladi comes from the Republic of Moldova, and she had received a full scholarship from the Open Society Foundation to study at the American University in Bulgaria. In 2019,she has graduated Magda Cum Laude, with Honors in her two majors: Political Science and International Relations, as well as European Studies, and as the Presidential Medalist of the class. Currently, Nicoleta works as a Project Assistant at the Council of Europe.

Outside work, Nicoleta seeks to develop her advocacy capacities in social justice issues like gender equality and access to education. For 7 years now, she has been an active volunteer indifferent parts of the world like Eastern Europe, Utah, Nepal, creating educational content, workshops, events, and mentorships for youth and girls. She was selected as one of the 300 global young leaders of Women Deliver, and she runs her educational project “revolutionizher”, which seeks to empower young people and women on topics of non-formal education. As an activist and project enthusiast, Nicoleta continues to create empowering and thought-provoking content, and serves as Moldova’s Youth Ambassador at diverse global political conferences and consultations like YOUNGA, EU-ASEAN Youth Forum, the World for Democracy, etc.

She strives to create a world in which young people and women are not afraid to use their voice for impacting change, a world which facilitates that and channels it for further development

Nicoleta Paladi's mentor is Iva Boneva.
