Rajal Rana
Rajal Rana is a social work professional working for CRY for AE & ECM Project in Gujarat, India. Being an elder child in a lower middle-class family where the breadwinner is a chronic illness patient, Rajal has been more responsible to start part-time earning from the age of 15 to support her own with educational expenses. Her interest in Development sector began with the difficult times in her family when her father was suffering from Chronic Kidney Failure; she saw a social worker helping to deal with stress. During graduation, she has received a scholarship from an NGO‘C R Kothari Memorial Charitable Trust’.She applied for the MSW Course in the M S University of Baroda, which turned out to be a life-changing opportunity. During MSW, she was selected from a campus at Deepak Foundation. She has worked with Reach to Teach’s partner organisations in education sector. Rajal aspires to be a groomed social work professional to work with the International Non-Profit Organisation for self-growth and in long term; she is aspiring to start a social impact organisation to support women empowerment and skill development. Rajal enjoys cooking and listening to Indian Songs.
