Subhag Raj Maliakal
Subhag is currently responsible for overseeing quality of social impact projects with Sustainable Square (India). With 5 years of experience in planning and implementing Education Leadership models, building capacity of government and related stakeholders, managing partnerships, he brings expertise in stakeholder & project management.
Started his career with the prestigious Gandhi Fellowship, his interest lies in working with large scale social impact projects with a focus on education, youth & skill development, entrepreneurship and rural development. Subhag understands the grassroot realities of India’s education system. He cultivated the knowledge, skills and mindset necessary to attain leadership positions by spearheading operations, strategy and research in building innovative products for secondary school students with Piramal Foundation for Education Leadership (PFEL) and establishing a transformative Skill Development Academy in the cleaning industry with world’s largest Facility Management Company, Alfred Kärcher GmbH & Co. (Germany). The public systems project he developed to work on skill development and entrepreneurial skills of youth had won social venture competitions across India including The New Millionaire Programme by PIRAMAL FOUNDATION, IIT Bombay’s Abhyuday and Startup Oasis’s TEDSTART programme.
