Valerie Tafon
Valerie Tafon has four years of experience in the non profit sector and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Geology with a Minor in Environmental Science from the University of Buea in Cameroon.
Valerie currently works with a nonprofit organization called Jeuneusses Musicales Cameroon whose goal is empowering youths through music. Previously, Valerie served as a volunteer in an Orphan home acting as their talent manager. Through these experiences, Valerie has developed a huge passion for youth leadership, and youth involvement in decision making, talent identification and management. He holds so firmly on the belief that using art to address societal ills if a highly effective approach. Valerie often referred to on the music scene as Ronnel Valerie is an Afro Jazz musician and a led the Feelyxngz Gospel Jazz band that partnered with UNESCO to organize international Jazz day in Cameroon 2016. This was a huge success and greatly encouraged intercultural Dialogue, tolerance and freedom of speech.
He believes in team building and youth involvement in decision making.
