Yidnekachew Mogessie

Dr. Yidnekachew Mogessie is a front line physician fighting COVID-19 in the critical care unit in Ethiopia. He is also a vibrant, passionate reproductive health and youth rights advocate serving as a volunteer leader in multiple health initiatives. Such as the Youth focal point at FP2020, UN foundation. He has been serving as a youth advisory board member in Amref health Africa, Royal Danish Embassy, Ministry of health AYH technical working group, and path finder international Act with her project.

Furthermore, he has been training 20 000 Youth, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills such as communication, group dynamics, emotional intelligence, and essential leadership skills across the globe. Due to his dedication and leadership, He is a rise up youth champion and Student projects for health award winner for his commitment and leadership on the field of SRHR. He is one of 12 global recipients of the2019 ECFMG/FAIMER award for a Sexual Health Education Project.
