Allen Macumbi

Allen Macumbi is a 21-year-old social activist from Gaza, Mozambique, with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. He is passionate about reading, and his favourite book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. He began his journey in social activism at an early age, driven by a strong desire to improve the lives of young people in his community.

From 2024 to 2025, he served as Program Coordinator at Txeka-Já, where he led a team of 40 peer educators promoting sexual and reproductive health in Mozambique. In this role, he organised five successful workshops, each engaging more than 200 participants. Currently, Allen is a member of AfriYan Mozambique, where he continues to advocate for sexual and reproductive health. He is also a Global Ambassador for Youth Opportunities, sharing information about scholarships, fellowships, internships, and other opportunities with young people across Mozambique.
