Ehi Ogwuche-Obe

As a health professional, Ehi is on a mission to find where healthcare and technology meet. With a solid foundation as a merit scholar and experience in content writing, she is committed to promoting health education and advocacy.

Throughout her clinical experiences, Ehi noticed significant gaps in research that contribute to high morbidity and mortality rates and poor patient outcomes. These issues are often aggravated for women due to societal constraints on their autonomy. She aims to define a distinct path in digital health research that specifically addresses gender inequality. By sharpening her technical skills, she intends to create innovative solutions that tackle systemic bias.

Her ultimate goal is to use her experiences and passion to strengthen health systems and help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDGs 3 and 5.

As the future of healthcare evolves, Ehi is determined to write a chapter that amplifies marginalised voices. Beyond her medical pursuits, she enjoys expressing her creativity through curating playlists and composing poetry that explores the diverse human emotions and interactions.
