Faiq Sabir
Faiq Sabir is a passionate climate advocate, educator, and community leader based in Faisalabad, Pakistan. With a Master of Philosophy in Physics from Government CollegeUniversity, Faisalabad, Faiq combines academic rigour with a deep commitment to environmental sustainability and social justice.
As a facilitator for the British Council’s Climate Action Initiative and Peace and Justice Network Pakistan, Faiq has delivered over 15 climate education sessions, training more than 550 young individuals to become environmental leaders. His efforts focus on water conservation, tree plantation, renewable energy, waste management, and integrating climate education into local schools and colleges.
Faiq is also the Director of the Christian Students Community, where he champions minority rights, interfaith dialogue, and educational access for marginalized groups. Under his leadership, the community has launched initiatives to empower women and children, promote education, and ensure representation for minorities in Pakistan.
With three years of teaching experience and a track record of impactful community engagement, Faiq’s mission is to inspire youth to lead collective efforts for a more inclusive and sustainable future. His work reflects his belief in the transformative power of education, collaboration, and action.
