Isabel Paipe
Isabel Paipe is a Mozambican teacher, translator, and researcher committed to improving healthcare in rural areas of Mozambique through sustainable practices. She is passionate about education, ethical leadership, and inclusive communication. With a background in language and public speaking, she has worked independently to empower individuals and communities through teaching and translation, helping people access knowledge and express their ideas across cultures.
She currently serves as a researcher at Spark Gorongosa, a translational research initiative under Spark Global and Spark Africa. In this role, Isabel contributes to community-based health research aimed at addressing critical challenges in rural communities, helping to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and local impact. She also holds a leadership position as Co–Vice President of Public Relations at the Legacy Toastmasters Club in Mozambique, where she mentors others in communication and leadership development.
Isabel has previously participated in mentoring programs such as SHINE, which support young women’s empowerment and professional growth. With a strong interest in social impact, she aspires to establish a language services company that promotes cross-cultural understanding, supports emerging professionals, and advances education and development. She views mentorship as a vital step in refining her vision and strengthening her leadership to serve both local and global communities.
