Maryam Nama Hussaini
Maryam Nama Hussaini is an Afghan visual artist and storyteller dedicated to empowering women and girls through art. She views art as a powerful tool for expressing emotions and lived experiences, using it to build bridges between Afghan artists and global audiences. Through painting, digital design, and visual storytelling, Maryam aims to amplify the voices of Afghan women and girls and support them in sharing their stories free from social limitations.
She is a member of the Global Girl Project (GGP) and has participated in the Doha Debates Ambassadors Program. Maryam speaks Persian and English and has beginner-level proficiency in Spanish. She is deeply committed to continuous learning and personal growth.
