Najwa Maqbool
Najwa Maqbool is an educator and social impact professional with nearly a decade of experience leading programmes at the intersection of education, youth development, and social inclusion. Her work focuses on helping young people build self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and a sense of agency in shaping their futures. She has worked in classrooms, communities, and organisations to design and deliver initiatives that equip youth and women from underrepresented backgrounds with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to thrive in education, work, and civic life.
Najwa is guided by feminist and decolonial approaches to social change. Outside of work, she is an avid runner, enthusiastic baker, and advocate for advancing women’s leadership in shaping social and political change. Her worldview is deeply shaped by her experience as a long-term caregiver to her mother, which continues to ground her in empathy, purpose, and perseverance.
