Nephia Khumbitsa

Nephia Khumbitsa is a committed Public Health and Nursing professional passionate about community empowerment, ethical leadership, and improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, blending clinical expertise with strong community engagement skills. Nephia currently serves as a Health Promotion Officer with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF-France), where she leads health education initiatives, mobilises communities, supervises health workers, and supports cervical cancer follow-up systems. Her previous roles with Partners in Health and Neno District Hospital strengthened her abilities in research, data analysis, and public health advocacy.

Nephia’s work reflects her belief in dignity, accountability, and service—values that align with the Global Thinkers Forum’s mission. She aspires to use mentorship and global leadership exposure to advocate for equitable health systems, mentor young women, and influence positive social change in Malawi.
