Tamara Eve Banda

Tamara Eve Banda is a Nurse, Midwife, Public Health Officer and Researcher. Currently, she works at Nkhotakota District Hospital in Malawi as a Nurse Midwife and is also undertaking an internship as a Public Health Officer.

Tamara holds a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, a Degree in Public Health from the University of Livingstonia and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Research at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences.

Her research interests focus on empowering young people from marginalized communities to recognize their worth. Driven to excel in research, Tamara aims to make a meaningful difference in Malawi and globally.

With a strong passion for improving healthcare outcomes, Tamara is committed to leveraging her skills and knowledge to drive positive change. Her experience working with diverse populations has deepened her understanding of the complex factors influencing health and well-being. Tamara is excited to continue her research pursuits, collaborating with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that address the unique needs of marginalized communities.
