Wakisa Mwanyongo
Wakisa Mwanyongo, 28 years old, was born on 17 April 1997 in Karonga District, Malawi. She is an experienced educator and community advocate with a strong passion for youth development and empowerment. Wakisa graduated in 2017 from the University of Livingstonia with a Bachelor of Arts in Education Humanities, equipping her with a solid foundation in teaching, curriculum development, and learner-centered education.
She currently serves as a Lead Teacher at Mount View International School, where she mentors fellow teachers, designs engaging lessons, and implements programs that promote both academic excellence and character development among students. Previously, she worked as a Class Teacher at Paramount International Academy, teaching Form 1 students and fostering a supportive learning environment.
In addition to her teaching experience, Wakisa has worked as a Data Entry Clerk at the Office of the Director of Public Officers Declarations in Lilongwe, demonstrating strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and professionalism. She is passionate about mentoring young people, supporting vulnerable children, and creating opportunities for youth to reach their full potential.
